This weekend I jumped on the band wagon and followed the cool kids to Battersea Power Station to get involved in the HoliFestival. (For those of you who don't know this is an Indian Festival of Colour which celebrates the triumph of 'good over bad'.) In London this means lots of drunk punks wearing white and throwing paint at each other! Good defiantly triumphed this day!
The day started like any other. Hungover. After a quick run to my friends followed by a Full English. (Epic Fail) I went home got on my white, and mouse ears of course and made my way over to the BEAUTIFUL Battersea Power Station to get my FUUNNNNN ON!!! A cheeky Pimm's in a tin later and we arrived ready to be dirtied up. That sounds wrong, but you get my jist. That also sounds wrong. I will just stop now.
We arrived just in time for the hourly countdown and let the drunkness and good times unfold. The Pirates were on top form as per usual! We went from white angels to deformed smurfs in no time at all. Can't wait for next year already.
Words for advice to all. Go on the Saturday. Rocking up to work with pink in your hair is maybe not the best impression to make!
