Cannes Film Festival

Cannes Film Festival is like my dream. Beautiful venue, beautiful films and very importantly BEAUTIFUL dresses. Here is a selection of some of my favourites so far. I very luckily have a friend working on one of the fabulous yachts so her updates make me feel like I am there! At least I understand how they are feeling, last time I was there it was pissing rain too.

Can't wait for all the awards and to actually see the selection of films. Until then I will drool at all the glamour

Blaire Eat Your Heart Out XoXo

In a galaxy far far away.. Or just a really long time ago, one of the best/worst t-shows appeared on our screens. It was brilliant not for its beautiful people or horrific acting (cough cough 90210) but because one girl's commitment to headwear. The day Blaire Waldorf came into my life my feelings towards headpieces changed forever! While one may collect fine wines or jewellery to pass on to their children.....or maybe that is a bad alcoholic dream of mine to pass on booze to my children. Anyway one of my finest collections may be my headwear. Over the years I have bought all shapes and sizes and they have all stuck by me through the hard times. Currently must be a hard time as I am addicted. Others may disagree with my headwear, but I do not care for these people.

Below is a selection of my most recent purchases, and also a few of my 'I NEED TO OWN NOW OR I MAY CRY SELECTION' (I can get a little dramatic at times, this explains my appalling spelling as I am far too passionately involved in the moment. I am totally passionate OK!)

To all of you that think 'oh I can't pull that off', GET OVER IT! From personal experience, YES, you may get stared at for a little while but soon enough you will enjoy the wonderful creation upon your head so much that the stares of 'WTF' become 'DAMN THAT GIRL IS ROCKING IT.' Seriously it is better to pretend that. Also from experience a funeral is not appropriate place to try out black headwear! Another life lesson from from. Life lesson 688: DO NOT do what I just previously stated.

*Warning*
The below images may contain content that offend viewers #Selfies.

Section one: I MUST OWN OR I WILL CRY:

Topshop Number

Section 2:

Some recent purchases. I like me some flowers and gold.

A very old Topshop number. I am aware I said new purchases but I found her again and she makes me happy.

This was River Island but I think it may be sold out online.

Stole this from my sister as she thought it was a necklace. The girl has studied Neuroscience and Forensic Mental Health and can't figure out a necklace. Ones mins is baffled. Apparently it is an Asda number though. Well done her.

Section 3:

Also if people do not stare at you when wearing the below. Hang out with new people as it is not acceptable.

Sabrina and Harvey 4 EVER!!!!

It was your choice to open up this page. I do not care if you judge me. I LOVE SABRINA. Melissa Joan Hart was one of the finest actresses of my generation. Clarissa Explains it All AND Sabrina. Our modern day Selena's and Demi's have NOTHING on MJH . (I'm sorry if you read this S and D you are totally my home-girls, SDS4EVER!!)

So my ultimate home-girls aka the Pirates (these are my work people for those of you don't know) got me the best birthday present EVER. THE FULL SABRINA TEENAGE WITCH BOX-SET. 7 WHOLE SERIES. After they could not find me a dinosaur lamp this was second option and oh how it brings me the same joy as turning a light switch on and off. A light switch that looked like fire OK, that's what made it cool.

So apart from all the wonderful life lessons I have learnt from Salem and the gang. #Spellman witches can't eat pancakes
#Can't buy talking cars from the other realm
What I have mostly learnt is how ridiculous the cast has been. I only decided to do this after a good few discs in so have missed a few such as Andrew Keegan and random sports stars. SERIOUSLY check out the cast, they knew they were on to a good thing.

May the 90's for ever live on.

Donald Faison aka TURK!!!

Totally can't remember the dudes in the backs name, but he is somebody. (I hope)

JERRY JERRY JERRY!!!

RuPaul making his or her way across America.

Davy Jones from The Monkees

Owning this box-set will make you better at life. FACT. Just think this cast and season 3 isn't even over yet, and we are only working our way up to the Queen of pop. (No, not Madonna. That old hag) BRITNEY SPEARS. YEEEEHHHAAAAA!!!

I will leave you with the intro to get your taste buds watering. As you have probably guessed another post will appear with guest stars from the remaining series!

Sunday Funday

So yesterday was that wonderful time of week.. SUNDAY. (When you have to work every other Saturday, this day brings much joy in your week!) This week I was a very lucky bunny and my sis decided to treat me to a lovely day out. This is a HUGE deal as she is one of those types that will only go a 5 minute radius from her house!

So I ventured over to a (deserted) St. Paul's and visited the Hersheron's blow dry bar. If you haven't been it is £25 for a 30 minute blow dry and they have lots of fun options to choose from. They have several locations but i find this one the easiest to get an appointment. My sister opted for the Smooth Wavy while I tried out the Big and Brushed. I think the hair stylists found it a little odd that we had no reason for getting our hair done, like HELLO IT'S SUNDAY I'M BEING FABULOUS DARLING! (I did not respond with that, don't worry!) My hair quickly died but not before I attempted to copy the model picture. I will leave the modelling to the professionals. CRINGE MUCH FOR ME.

                                              My sisters' Smooth Wavy look.

My attempt at looking like a twat. SUCCESSFUL.

After getting our hair 'did', we strolled very far by taking the lift all the way to the 6th floor to pay a visit to Madison's roof top bar. I much prefer this place at the weekend, it's super relaxing and luckily we had very nice weather. I would suggest a cocktail but I was super classy and stuck to cider. In my hazy memory of a drunken Thursday night I do feel the mojito's are good. After a little drink or two we went across the road to Has, which is super scrumptious Turkish food. I would have taken photos, but I was way to involved in the foos to be honest. Preparing my taste pallet for my holiday to Turkey next week. YAAAY SUN!!!

On the adventure home being a little tipsy (Antibiotics and booze are a no no people) I made a quick detour to Brixton village to try out Chillbox. SO GLAD I DID! My frozen yogurt addiction was happily filled for the day. They had many yummy sounding options but after making my friend make the decision for me I went with Oreo cookie crumble. As you can see it was GOOOOD!

I finished off my day with one of my ultimate guilty pleasures, Sabrina the Teenage Witch. COOL KID,I know! Oh man I'm crushing so hard on Harvey Kinkle again. If anybody wants their day ruined then google an image of him now. Heartbreaking I tell you. I did get to see a very cheesy *Nsync though and that may have been better than the whole day put together. Until next Sunday adventure.

Love of the Week

So I may be one of those type people that may fall crazy in love with actors. By may I mean I am 1,000% one of those type people. Judging by my childhood folders being covered in pictures of Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd, I am certified cray cray. (I totally still have them, never had the heart to throw them away!! Also they are still total babes in my eyes!)

So this week I have a new obsession, it has been slowly growing over the past few years as he is phenomenally talented. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Sherlock, Star Trek Into Darkness and the Hobbit. I am of course talking about the one and only Benedict Cumberbatch. After seeing Star Trek my love has reached a new level, I am not sure If my love for him is based on having the best name EVER, or the fact that he is voicing Smaug ( A DRAGON PEOPLE, A FRICKIN DRAGON). He is a comic con dream!!

Judging by the amount of films he is currently in post and pre production with we will all get to creep on him plenty more in 2013. YAAAY, until then look and enjoy! Oh and see Star Trek because he looks damn fine!

Benedict rant over and out xx
